If you are a tech-head or just been up to date with the latest smartphone releases, you may have realized the lack of a headphone jack with the latest smartphones. While this has been extremely criticized by audiophiles due to the quality the 3.5mm headjack produces, it a part of larger strategy to a wireless world since efficiency is key in our new world.

Wireless charging having been introduced in 2016 to be a more subtle way of charging at the time wasn’t well welcomed but over the years most western countries have adopted it well to the extent that coffee shops and small restaurants invest in wireless chargers for customers to have a quick charge while they grab a bite. With rumors that the next iphone wont have a charger and the the next one after that wont have any port whatsoever support the claim that wireless truly is the way, considering this was always Apples idea from the beginning, and it may be realised pretty soon.

Back in 2017, Apple released airpods, they paved way to the wireless audio segment where there has been a surge of various wireless buds in the market, ranging from very cheap ones to premium ones. Considering a phone has 2 ports, these two innovations will really enable a wireless world with many possibilities in place.

Conclusion

Wires have been an essential part in technology, though they have improved our world for long, the new wireless technologies prove to be promising, especially with what bluetooth can do with its improvements over the years. It can also be viewed that reduction in use of wires is so environment friendly.

In the end our world is ever changing, in this regard I believe the world changes for the better, and a true wireless world gives opportunities for tech ecosystems to be in place, where all gadgets work effortlessly at once to bring a more pleasing experience in using everyday devices.
